Jean A. Mancinho, 79, of Cecile Avenue, Coventry, RI, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at home. Born in Richmond, RI, she was the wife of George W. Mancinho. They were married for thirty-five years. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Frank and Marie Antoinette (Pelletier) Tefft.
Jean worked in the bakery at Sam’s Club for twenty-one years until its closing.
Besides her husband she is survived by four children; Kathy J. Smith and her husband Kevin J., David G. Andrews and his wife Tina M., Karen J. Sowden and her husband Richard A. and Pete J. Andrews and his wife Christa E., two brothers; Alfred “Bud” Tefft and Owen Tefft, two sisters; Stella LaPointe and Ethel Pettis, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers; Leslie Tefft, Lewell Tefft and James Smith, and two sisters; Marguerite “Peach” Remington and Doris Smith.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.
