dear steve, karen, ann and susan, and your children: the passing of a parent is always difficult and in this time of grief just know that we care and our prayers and thoughts are with you today. it is said that in order to feel the warmth of the sun at the top of the mountain we must first experience the cold in the valley. move through this valley with the help of our Lord and we pray that your journey is rewarding.

Dear Susan and Chahid: My deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. I remember that he and "Dr J" would tell Polish jokes while having his teeth worked on...he was a favorite patient!!

I first met Tadeusz In 1947, when I was 12 years old; and my Mom was dating John Fuzek, his half brother. My Mom and John married in 1948. From then on, John was my Dad, and Tadeusz my uncle. It seemed comical. - his being my Uncle, only 5 years older than I. During a summer vacation I spent a week at the farm and we became great friends. Not exactly the "vacation worthy " activities folks like to keep in their memory banks, but memorable, nonetheless. Uncle Ted took me along with him in the old Model T to local farms collecting garbage to be fed to the pigs at the family farm. He instructed me in the correct method to hold the crank to start the Model T. ( this precious knowledge coming after he had broken his thumb cranking the car the wrong way!)
My Uncle Tadeusz (as I always called him rather than Ted as many others) "gifted" me with a priceless lesson that I used throughout my lifetime's passion- baseball. As one of best of the best, he taught me how to throw a curve ball!
I was privileged to be a member of the Wedding Party when he and Helen were wed and started their long, happily married journey.
I considered him a true gentleman, never having heard him raise his voice in anger or frustration.
Many happy reunions were held at their home on Johnson's Pond with the older original family members and the growing number of offspring and grandchildren.

Because real life intrudes way too often presenting activities which prevent families and friends to remain connected/in communication - except for, in older years, the inevitable funerals, it is with guilt and sadness that I feel I must apologize for not keeping in touch more often. Always on my mind and in my heart, I will miss my Uncle Tadeusz, my friend.
